OUR WINE

TRADE

•GRAPE SOURCING•

Grapes for this wine were sourced from vineyards across some of the best growing areas across California, providing the wine with rich, intriguing complexity.

•WINEMAKING•

The base of the blend is Merlot, which provides structure and depth. Some Cabernet Sauvignon for elegant structure and complexity, lingering with a little Petite Verdot for color and flavor. A dash of Petite Sirah was an added component for juicy, fruity flavors which adds richness on the palate.

•WINEMAKER’S NOTES•

Our wine displays intriguing wild berry and plum flavors, silky tannins, richness and complexity on the palate, and spicy, smoky notes with a lingering finish. Pair with lamb chops grilled with rosemary and thyme, seasonal vegetables and polenta.

GRAPE SOURCING•

Grapes harvested from a variety of vineyards and areas each provide unique flavor components, creating a balanced, complex and harmonious wine.

•WINEMAKING•

Grapes for this wine were harvested during cooler night and morning hours to highlight the crisp, balanced fruit flavors in our wine.   A portion of the blend went through malolactic fermentation, adding a silkiness and body to the wine.  A splash of Muscat adds floral notes and richness to the blend.

•WINEMAKER’S NOTES•

Golden apple and Anjou pear flavors are balanced by citrus notes and a smooth, creamy finish.  The wine would be a heavenly match with wild smoked salmon, roasted chicken or a four-cheese pizza.

•GRAPE SOURCING•

A variety of vineyards were selected, from warmer vineyards that highlight ripe, fruity flavors in the grapes to cool coastal climate growing regions, where warm, sunny days are moderated by cooling maritime influences.  The range of vineyards and growing areas creates a Pinot Noir that is crisp and complex yet approachable and luscious on the palate.

•WINEMAKING•

Grapes for this wine were gently squeezed, and cold soaked for up to 5 days prior to fermentation. French and American oak barrels, adding layers of toastiness, and complexity to the wine. The remaining portion of the blend was cold fermented in stainless steel to preserve the berry fruit characteristics and crisp acidity.

•WINEMAKER’S NOTES•

Fragrant cranberry and red raspberry aromas carry through to the palate, framed on the palate by notes of cedar, spice, vanilla with a crisp yet silky finish.  The wine pairs well with light pasta dishes, grilled

salmon, tuna, or roasted chicken.
